ShinyStat is an extremely simple and easy-to-use analytics service. The free version is very limited compared to Google Analytics and allows you to view the following statistics:

• Site visits with detailed analysis of the past 10 days and 100 days
• Details on devices, operating systems and browsers
• Visitor origins, referral sites, search engines, etc.
• User socio-demographic data (age, sex, interests)

Through the free version, you can install the traditional banner on your site by choosing from various types and allowing online users and visits to be visible. Paid versions provide more complete analysis, allowing you to compete with Google Analytics. One of the reasons for using this service is the location of data within the European territory as well as the fact that the service is managed by an Italian company, which undoubtedly simplifies the GDPR issue. The main data is then easier to access for those inexperienced with Analytics, and there is nothing preventing you from using both statistical services.
