Windowz.co.uk how the idea was born
Although WINDOWZ is a recent presence in the equipment market, it does not lack experience in the 'window cleaning' industry.
Mark Henderson, the mastermind behind Windowz, embarked on his career as a window cleaner in the north of England when he was only 17 years old in 1992. In 2000, he established an additional window cleaning business in London, where he met his future Italian wife, Erica. The couple then moved to Italy in 2005.
In Italy, Mark observed the absence of the 'window cleaning' profession and attempted to introduce such a service, starting in the city of Ovada. "The beginnings were arduous. My command of Italian was limited and, being a new face in town, I encountered some resistance. However, with time, the business has grown and now Windowz is a solid entity in the region with a dedicated team."
THE ORIGIN OF WINDOWZ.IT After arriving in Italy in 2005, Mark realized that he would need time to adapt and build a network as a window cleaner. Leveraging his British experience, he launched a website in 2006 aimed at window cleaners in the United Kingdom.
"Window Cleaning Resources Ltd. was born out of a desire to offer a series of training DVDs for window cleaners. I was enthusiastic about the idea, and in a short time the site became a reference point for UK window cleaners, a place to find suppliers, information, advice and even job opportunities."
After spending 15 years in Italy, in 2020 Mark identified the need for an online portal for the growing number of Italian window cleaners.
He then decided to sell Window Cleaning Resources and focus on establishing Windowz.it
