The site appears very intuitive at first glance. Opening the desktop version, we find starting from the top: on the left, the association's logo with its colors, and towards the center right, prominently visible to the visitor, the link to find the associations closest to their town and the search bar to find specific information within the site. On the far right, there are links to become a member, register, and access the Association's contacts. Continuing down, we find the main menu with the categories, from left to right: HOME, WHO WE ARE, PROJECTS, HERITAGE, MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS, AGREEMENTS, MAGAZINE, DOWNLOADS, AND FACEBOOK BUTTON. The sections WHO WE ARE, PROJECTS, and HERITAGE also have subcategories that we will see later. We scroll further down the homepage with quick links in the form of logos of various sites for social networks, printing, and sharing the link. The Association has decided to use three social platforms, namely LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, but it is also possible to share the link on various services. These quick links are present on all other pages of the site.
In the center of the screen, there are representative images of the association, associated with the slogan "A world of discoveries," featuring an image of a child running next to the railway with a kite shaped like the Association's logo; certainly an image that conveys joy to the visitor and encourages them to continue browsing. All five images link to a specific subcategory of the site.
Further down, there is an image of the new President of the Association, with the date of inauguration and a button to learn more clearly visible.
Next, the new publication of the Association is presented, a volume available at the Central Headquarters, but also available online with the respective link; on the right, there is also an excerpt from the following volume.
We continue with a brief explanation of the Association's objective, which is further elaborated on the dedicated page. Then follows a video directly linked to the Association's YouTube channel.
The homepage is very rich, so the content is not finished; we are only halfway! It briefly explains which associations offer assistance, talks about vending machines, the possibility of receiving a digital membership card, and finally, at the bottom of the page, there are contacts and various articles and activities. It specifically refers to the DLF Magazine and the agreements.
But now let's move on to the subcategories: we mentioned at the beginning of the article that the sections WHO WE ARE, PROJECTS, AND HERITAGE present other links. Specifically, the WHO WE ARE section refers to the explanation of the Association's purpose, its history, and the locations spread across Italy, accompanied by a map. The next page is dedicated to the activities it offers, which vary based on individual preferences, listing the various options proposed, starting from sports, moving through tourist activities, cultural activities, and services. In the PROJECTS section, initiatives and projects dedicated mainly to schools and families are displayed. In the HERITAGE section, the possessions of the DLF and other associated Associations are described.
Regarding the MOBILE version, the site is smooth, presenting the same layout as the desktop site, with a scrolling mode and a dropdown menu located at the top left with all categories clearly visible.
