Blue Mail the alternative Email client for Android and iOS

Blue Mail is a complete and advanced free mail client, able to manage an unlimited number of accounts. The APP is available for iOS, Android, Linux and Windows and compared to the most popular APPs, in the mobile environment it has a huge advantage allowing you to configure aspects of your email account and solve authentication problems where many iOS and Android clients for security reasons fail to connect.

How to set up your email account?

With the majority of free emails such as Gmail , Outlook , Libero , Virgilio etc. there will be no differences from the iOS or Android Gmail APP. The configuration that we are going to see concerns corporate email accounts where it is necessary to set the CRAM_MD5 encoding to send the unencrypted Password.

To configure the email manually once the APP is installed:

  • Click on "Add account"
  • Enter the username and password of the email and remove the check from "Automatic". Click on Next.
  • In our case we select IMAP as the protocol.
  • We configure the IMAP server email address with the parameters provided by our provider.
  • We select the security as SSL / TLS and the authentication as CRAM_MD5, and we set the port as 993.
  • Let's resume the configuration for SMTP outgoing mail, setting the port as 465

The configuration is finished and we can receive and send the mail via Blu Mail.
