Site structure

The site is at first sight very intuitive, opening the desktop version we find starting from the top: on the left the logo of the association with its colors, on the right in the center, the link to find the associations closest to the your country and the search bar to find some specific information on the site. On the far right are the links to become members, register and access the Association's contacts. Continuing down we find the main menu with the categories, from left to right: MAIN PAGE, ABOUT US, PROJECTS, HERITAGE, POSSIBILITY OF MEMBERSHIP, CONVENTIONS, MAGAZINE, DOWNLOAD AND FACEBOOK KEY. The ABOUT US, PROJECTS and HERITAGE sections also have sub-categories which we will see later. Let's scroll through the homepage again with the quick links in the form of logos of the various sites, for the various social networks, printing and sharing the link. The Association has decided to use three social networks, namely LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, however it is possible to share the link on different services. These quick links are present on all other pages of the site.

then, in the center of the screen, representative images of the association, associated with the slogan "A world of discoveries", are the image of a child running next to the railway with a kite whose shape is given by the Association's logo; certainly an image that conveys joy to the visitor and encourages him to continue browsing. All five images refer to a specific subcategory of the site.

Further down is the image of the new President of the Association, with the inauguration date and the button to learn more clearly visible.

The new publication of the Association is then presented, a volume available at the Headquarters, but also available online with the respective link; on the right there is also an extract from the following volume.

It goes on with a brief explanation of the Association's objective, an explanation which is however detailed in the page dedicated to it. Then follows a video directly linked to the Association's YouTube channel.

The home is very rich, so the contents are not finished, we are only halfway through! He further explains briefly which associations offer assistance, talks about vending machines, the possibility of receiving the digital card and finally at the bottom of the page there are contacts and various articles and activities. He then refers specifically to the DLF Magazine and to the conventions.

But now let's move on to the sub-categories: we said at the beginning of the article that the sections ABOUT US, PROJECTS AND HERITAGE have other links. Specifically, the WHO WE ARE section refers to the explanation of the purpose of the Association, with its history, the offices scattered throughout the Italian territory, accompanied by a map. The next page is instead dedicated to the activities it offers, there are several based on the attitude of each one, the various options proposed are then listed, starting from sport, passing through tourist activities, cultural activities and services. The PROJECTS section displays the initiatives and projects dedicated to schools and families above all. The PROPERTY section instead describes the possessions of the DLF and the other Associations connected to it.

As for the MOBILE version, the site is scrollable, has the same layout as the desktop site, with scrolling mode and a drop-down menu at the top left with all the categories clearly visible.

Strengths

The site is well assorted, with intuitive menus for both desktop and mobile. It is very captivating as it is very varied. Multimedia content such as auto-scrolling photos and videos certainly enrich the user experience by making it more enjoyable and light. It is written in a simple and clear way for everyone, even those who are not in the trade, while remaining faithful to its specific terminology.

Although it is well equipped with numerous images and videos, the loading of the various pages is on average fast and also the download of the contents. This is not to be taken for granted as the multimedia contents weigh down the page in question, making its loading or loading of the multimedia contents themselves slower, yet this does not happen, the browsing experience is pleasant in terms of timing.
